Tomigaya Studio offers rental of a proofing machine, a printing machine used for letterpress printing. From small business cards and shop cards to large poster sizes, it can be used for personal production.
Other studio facilities are also available for use. Please see below for details.

The paper sizes that can be used with the proofing machine are a minimum of 150 x 150mm and a maximum of 508 x 374mm. The printable area is up to 457 x 356mm. Please refer to the information below for paper types and restrictions.

Q: Can I use my own type or plates?
A, はい、可能です。使用上、活字の種類によっては互いに高さが異なる場合がございます。詳しくはスタッフへお尋ねください。
また、外への持ち出しはできませんのでご遠慮ください。
Q, 自分で持っている活字や版を使うことはできますか？
A. Depending on the material and height, the product may not be usable. If you wish to use it, please consult us in advance.
Q. Can I bring in my own paper?
A. Yes, it is possible, but we recommend consulting us in advance as there may be compatibility issues with your printer.
Q. Can I use only the other facilities?
A. Only those who have reserved machine rentals can use them on a different day. In that case, please inform the staff of your desired date and time of use in advance.
Q. Do I need to bring writing tools or a cutting mat?
A, 利用者1名様につき、ご同伴は1名様までとさせていただいております。印刷機の使用予約は、原則レッスン受講者、またはポスターWS受講済みの方に限ります。
Q, 筆記用具やカッターマットは必要ですか？
A. Please bring your own writing implements. There are large cutting mats available in the studio, and we will lend you one if you need it.
Q. Is there a space where I can check the colors?
A. We offer a desktop light capable of color proofing.
Q. Is there a place to dry the printed paper?
A. We have drying racks available in the space where the printing press is located.
Q. Can I pick up the dried items the next day?
A. Please inform our staff of your pick-up date and visit us on a later day. However, please note that due to studio circumstances, we may need to remove items from the drying rack.
Q: Do you provide paper bags for takeout?
A: As a general rule, we ask that you bring it with you.
Q. Do you have Wi-Fi and power outlets?
A. Outlets are available, but Wi-Fi is not.
Q: Is there parking available?
A. We do not have a parking lot available. Please use nearby coin-operated parking.
Q. Can I eat and drink?
A. Snacks and drinks are permitted. However, due to limited space, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing in meals such as bento boxes.
Our adjoining café offers hot sandwiches, cakes, and more. Please feel free to make use of it.
