About Card Design

Card Specifications

The nostalgic warmth
of wooden type

The design is made using hand-printed vintage wood type. If you look closely, you will see that some of the numbers are missing or faded. The polka dots and stripes were also created by printing a combination of wood type dots and the capital letter "I," and then processing that data. The soft atmosphere of vintage wood type is faithfully expressed.

Pop colors
of risograph printing

All printing is done using a risograph. Like woodblock printing, each color is printed on top of the other, which means that misregistration occurs between the overlapping colors. We design with this misregistration in mind. All printing is done using spot colors, so the textured finish created by the overlapping of multiple colors is one of the charms of risograph printing.

A wide variety of patterns

There are 18 designs in total, including 15 basic design variations and 3 special designs. Special designs are used for special days throughout the year. For example, January 1st is New Year's Day, March 3rd is Girls' Day, December 25th is Christmas, and so on. One way to enjoy it is to search for different dates to see what designs will appear. What design will your special day have?
